Direct Action Gear used patented CVS-Combat Vent system to offer better breathability for more comfort. You will find internal mesh and hydration pocket in the main compartment for better management. It comes with additional pockets to organize your essentials and gears more properly. This backpack is available in more than five different colors including camo and solid.

Who Should Get It?

If you are looking for a backpack for adventure or the outdoor activities, this is a great backpack to have. This is a multipurpose tactical backpack with lots of features to get benefitted in different outdoor scenarios. However, if you are looking this for work purpose, the camo color won’t suit it. You will find the heavy-duty and glove-friendly YKK zippers. YKK is world renowned for their fantastic zippers, and this isn’t any exception. You will be able to pull and close the zipper while the glove is on. It is also equipped with other high-quality materials like the paracord drag handle, shoulder strap, D-Ring, chain webbing, Velcro panel.

Compartments and Additional Features

The Dragon EGG is primarily designed for shorter trips like a one day trip to the wild. It is suitable for short patrol duties. This backpack comes with three zippered compartments. The main compartment has hydration sleeve and mesh pocket. Please note that this is a 25+ liter backpack. Due to the low profile look, a lot of users are using it as an everyday carry bag. Incase if you are looking for a MOLLE tactical backpack, you will love its space to keep your laptop, iPad, tablet or other items.

There is a center tube exit for hydration tube in the main compartment of the bag. This is why some users use this as the base of a bug out bag. There is also a rear pocket with padded sleeve to keep your gadgets safe and sound. You can keep other essentials like GPS, notepads, pen, or other small things in the front zippered mesh pocket. It may not be able to hold a lot, but keeping little things are easier, and you can access them very quickly.
